How can I make a witness speak the truth?

You should provide this information to your counsel (who can subpoena the info if necessary); if you've not obtained private counsel or your public defender is not doing an adequate job, then you should obtain other counsel.

Do I have to worry about getting picked up if I didn't even know I had a warrant on me 4 years back?

There is an active warrant for your arrest, yes you should be worried about it. The next time you are stopped, the outcome might be totally different with you being held for up to 30 days while the other state decides whether to extradite you. They usually do not do that for misdemeanors, but you need to get this taken care of so that it will be done once and for all.

Yes, they can do that but you have to get an attorney who knows how to do legal research in order to see if there is a suppression issue.
