Depends on why they entered the house. Going to be very fact specific. Hire a lawyer that knows search and seizure law.

Can I date someone older than me if I am 17?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
In Texas, 17 is legal for anyone up to whatever 99 and up. The three year rule is only for kids under 17. But better listen to mama. Don't want her causing you any trouble. But usually it's the parents who call the police, so if she doesn't then you should be cool.

Should I cancel a polygraph test?

Never take an lie detector test as these are unreliable and not admissible in court. The cops use them to get you to talk more about the case. Do not do it. Consult with a criminal defense attorney.
