Can you present evidence during an opening statement?

Answered by attorney Robert Watkins (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Robert Watkins
You can refer to it but it is not "presented". Opening statements are not evidence but merely an opportunity for the lawyer to tell the jury what the case is about and what they can expect in the way of evidence.

What are my legal options for stopping ex boyfriend from cyber stalking me?

Answered by attorney Larry K. Dunn (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Weo Office Suites, LLC
While not a question regarding criminal defense, a person can and should, seek a restraining order to protect against violence. There are victim's advocates at the courthouse who can assist in the procedure. A restraining order can prohibit communication by any means and result in arrests for violations.

You would be eligible fpr parole after serving approximately one-third of the sentence, with credit for 'good behavior'. We work closely with clients and the Parole Board at the beginning of the sentence to inusre that the proper actions are taken by the client/inmate to be successful in their request for parole. Please call immediately to discuss. Ed Dimon, Esq. 732-797-1600 ext 235
