I'm a minor and was arrested for public intoxication, what usually happens after?

If this is your first offense and the police officer is agreeable, the state typically would offer you a diversion program which would either not show up on your record or would be eligible for expungement.

Best thing to do is to contact your lawyer or hire a lawyer. If neither of those options are available to you, go to the court, talk to the clerk, and set a court date to appear in front of a judge and surrender on the warrant. People don't usually go to jail for FTAs on misdemeanor cases, but it is possible. Might want to talk to a bail bondsman before you go to court.

It depends what the 17 year old says at a preliminary hearing. You may be convicted if you had a stay away from minors order in the prior case. Without a full review of the police report I can only guess.
