Seeking information related to a rape case: how viable is prosecution in this situation?

Edward J. Dimon

Criminal Law lawyer at Edward J. Dimon
this would be a most difficult case [if not impossible] to bring in criminal court in that the prosecutor could not prove the case 'beyond a reasonable doubt'. we have had success in one case where we did not go the criminal or civil route. we confronted the person with the evidence and asked for the cost of medical care. the money was paid. this is most unusual. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600 ext 235

Without knowing the specific facts of your case, I have no way of knowing. I suggest that you retain the services of an attorney. If you try and do this on your own, I doubt you will have any chance of success.

Answered by attorney Jason William Savela

That is also a crime - you could report it to the local police and/or DA you can contact a personal injury attorney to discuss the civil suit, but the question is whether this guy has any money.
