About Nick Farr

Nick Farr was born in Texas but raised in Greenville, South Carolina. After graduating from Clemson University, Nick attended Wake Forest University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Religion with a focus on comparative religious ethics. After a friendly debate and a professor asking if he had considered law school, Nick enrolled in a graduated from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill School of Law in 2010.

Prior to joining Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers, Nick worked with two very well-respected regional defense firms, focusing primarily on insurance coverage and personal injury defense. Through that experience, Nick gained valuable insight into the insurance claims process and how to handle complex insurance coverage issues.

As a personal injury attorney at Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers, Nick utilizes his prior experience to zealously advocate for his clients. He understands how difficult and overwhelming navigating through insurance claims and the legal system can be and strives to help clients through every step of the process.

Nick is an experienced litigator, having handled numerous jury trials as well as cases before the SC Court of Appeals and SC Supreme Court. He has been consistently selected over the years by his peers for recognition of his professional achievements in both Greenville Business Magazine’s annual “Legal Elite” awards and in Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” (2017-2021), and a “Super Lawyer” (2022-2025 SC - Insurance Coverage, Personal Injury).
