As an attorney at Keches Law Group, P.C. since 2004, Sean Flaherty has built a practice focused on standing up for workers and employees when they need help most. With a background in construction and experience as a Local 7 Steel and Ironworkers Union member, he brings a practical perspective to workers’ compensation litigation. Sean represents injured workers through every step of the process—conciliations, conferences, and hearings before Administrative Law Judges at the Department of Industrial Accidents—and he also handles Social Security Disability claims. In addition, he works with clients facing workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination. Earlier in his career, Sean interned at the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, an experience that helped shape his approach to advocacy. He is deeply involved in professional and safety organizations, including leadership positions with the Bristol Bar Association, Taunton Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, as well as work with Kids’ Chance of Massachusetts, MassCOSH, and the Workers’ Injury and Advocacy Group. His accomplishments have been recognized with “Super Lawyer” and “Rising Star” honors from Boston Magazine, along with Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s Excellence in the Law Award. Sean graduated summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University, earned his law degree from New England School of Law, and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
