About Mr. Thomas C. Railsback

Tom Railsback is a native Texan and an experienced attorney with a focus on family law. He graduated from SMU with a BA in Government and Economics and earned his Juris Doctor from SMU's Dedman School of Law. Licensed to practice in Texas since 1970, Mr. Railsback is an Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam, a former JAG officer, and was selected for assignment to the USAF Trial Judiciary. Board Certified in Family Law since 1982, he has extensive experience handling family law cases throughout Texas. He joined Lovorn Law Firm in 2018, bringing his expertise in the litigation of complex family law cases, as well as his training and work as a mediator and collaborative law lawyer, to the team.
